Membership support

Supported by our vibrant and diverse membership our charitable programmes include:

Learning and educational programmes. The Food and Farming Discovery Trust (FFDT) is our education vehicle and provides learning opportunities for all Key Stages – for those at school or college and home educated children.

Supported by our vibrant and diverse membership our charitable programmes include:

Opportunities Fund. Raising aspirations and enabling potential through the awarding of grants, bursaries and scholarships.

Public events. The Royal Norfolk Show held annually in late June/early July is our flagship event and provides not only a showcase for food production and farming, but also a celebration of the county of Norfolk. The Show is a charitable fundraising event to help support the RNAA’s work.

We work in partnership with regional and national organisations to achieve our objectives of promoting and supporting food production, farming and the countryside in Norfolk.

Norfolk Rural Chaplaincy

Walking alongside Norfolk’s rural communities with compassion, care and presence.

The chaplain is often the bridge between faith and farming, between isolated individuals and the broader community of care and support.

Rural chaplaincy in Norfolk is about being there — offering a listening ear, pastoral support and spiritual care to individuals who may face isolation, economic hardship or emotional strain.
