In July 2020 the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) will host the 29th Commonwealth Agriculture Conference in Norwich, Norfolk UK. The RASC ¬plays a pivotal role in the promotion of agriculture throughout the Commonwealth. Founded by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1957, the RASC provides opportunities for agricultural associations and Show societies from across the Commonwealth countries, and further afield, to engage with industry leaders and support the advancement of sector. Through its international Next Generation programme, it also helps younger people develop new skills and encourages new talent in the industry. The Commonwealth Agriculture Conference (CAC), held every two years, is the RASC’s major international gathering, bringing together between 300-500 delegates from around the world.

The aims of the conference are to provide the opportunity for delegates to engage with leading industry figures, a platform for shared experiences and the advancement of best practice. The conference also offers opportunities for Next Generation delegates to meet and develop their own programme and for the leaders of major associations to discuss key issues in the CEO sessions.
The 2016 conference was held in Singapore, attended by around 400 delegates, and the 2018 conference will take place in Alberta, Canada.

Planning for 2020 has now begun and an experienced individual is being sought to work towards delivery of this conference.
