Lacons Brewery brings local suppliers together at HarFest

This year we are proud to announce our headline sponsor for HarFest 2017 is Lacons Brewery. With a rich history synonymous with brewing in East Anglia, it is a partnership set to bring together the local community and some of the finest Norfolk producers.

The one-day autumn fayre is held in Norwich Cathedral and will celebrate all things harvest. This year will see the Cathedral Cloisters transformed into a farmer’s market with opportunities to sample and buy from local food and drink producers. Lacons Brewery will be providing the bar which will be fully stocked with three great cask beers (Encore, Legacy and recently relaunched Patriot) and canned craft beer Quell IPA, as well as having cans and gift boxes available for purchase.

Judi-Mae Alderton, Marketing Manager at Lacons thinks it’s a great opportunity to bring the community together and celebrate local food & drink. She says “Lacons Brewery has had a long history as a producer in this part of the world, having been founded over 250 years ago in Great Yarmouth. HarFest is set to recognise the finest food and drink producers in the heart of Norwich, and as one of them it is something we champion!”

“As Norwich is one of the real ale centres of the country we can’t think of a more fitting place to bring everyone together and we’re looking forward to a great day.”

HarFest is a free family event being held on October 7th at Norwich Cathedral. As well as a chance to sample the finest produce Norfolk has to offer there will also be live entertainment, children’s activities, petting farm and farm machinery displays.
