Annual Programme of Events

Events and Activities

We’re a resource, a network, a knowledge hub, a place for professionals working in Norfolk’s rural land based industries to share ideas and skills.

We understand our members’ busy work-life balance and plan meetings accordingly. Working around the farming calendar, we meet up to six times a year, doing a variety of things, mixing social and business  activities.

YIELD provides a platform for informed debate and gets to the heart of the matters, which concern members. The group engages high calibre speakers and also arranges exclusive social activities for members.

The YIELD Network has enjoyed a varied and engaging programme of events since its establishment in 2015; Christine Tacon CBE presented a session to the group on the supply chain and her role as groceries code adjudicator in May 2015. 2015/16 RNAA president Robert Carter also hosted a tour of Letheringsett Old Hall and members learned first-hand how the estate is farmed. In Autumn 2015, an EU debate evening provided food for thought in light of the EU referendum, a talk from Nuffield Scholar Tom Bradshaw in early Spring and a visit to Norwich Research Park focused on arable farming and research. Ending the year, a farm walk at Raveningham Estate, kindly hosted by Sir Nicholas Bacon Bt gave members an insight into the diversity of the estate.
